Behind solid depth in all swimming events and a Meet record swim by Junior Kaitlyn Michalek, WNKM was able to win the Ike Invitational held at New Berlin Eisenhower.
Michalek’s record came in the 50 Freestyle and was the teams only event victory.
The team did place 2nd in all three relays with the A team, while the B relays finished 6th, 5th, and 6th respectively.
Individually everyone contributed to the points being scored.
Michalek followed her first place 50 freestyle with a 4th place in the 100 backstroke.
Freshman Kaitlyn Curtis swam to a second place finish the 50 freestyle and a 3rd place finish in the 100 backstroke.
Sophomore Grace Mautz and Senior Lexi Burgos led the distance freestylers with 2nd and 4th place finishes in both the 200 and 500 freestyles.
