This year, Waukesha North is proud to introduce a new award with the title of “Community Partner of the Year,” which will be bestowed upon a business, company, or organization who goes above and beyond to support the students who attend Waukesha North. The honoree is chosen for their dedication to making Waukesha North a place that serves all students and gives them a positive learning experience.
Our inaugural award is being presented to Mr. Kyle Soderstrum, who also happened to be an 1999 alumnus of Waukesha North.
Kyle has had a close relationship with Waukesha North for the past 6 years. Over this time he has partnered with the Football team, Marching Band, Baseball team, Basketball program, volleyball program and Swimming program. He has donated hundreds of free product certificates to North and those are given to students who show leadership, outstanding effort, and tremendous improvement in academics or service. In addition, each year Culver’s has generously donated full meals for every single teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week.
It is clear that Mr. Soderstrum values people and goes out of his way to share his good fortune with others. He is proud that he is able to contribute to the success of our programs at North, but he is especially proud of the employees that have been Waukesha North students. Without a doubt, Culver’s has great food, but the reason that Culver’s is special is because of the employees.
Mr. Soderstrum, thank you for being our first ever recipient of the Community Partner of the Year Award. We are so grateful for Culver’s generosity and look forward to continuing our relationship with you. Thank you!
