Girls Junior Varsity Swimming, Girls Varsity Swimming · Swimming and Diving Week 9

quotes-sprint-carIt is Homecoming Week.

There is a great deal of excitement during the week. There are a ton of extra events at both schools that are happening over the next 5 days. This is not an excusable reason to miss practice, core strength, or Thursday’s Meet. We are three weeks from the conference and every practice is important.

We also want to remind everyone that athletics is a privilege. Making smart choices at Friday’s game and Saturday’s dance to allow you to continue to swim/dive the rest of season are critical. If you have questions about this, see one of your coaches.

This weeks schedule:

  • Monday – Core Strength from 3:15 to 4:15. Swimming from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Diving from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
  • Tuesday – Core Strength from 3:15 to 4:15. Swimming from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Diving from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
  • Wednesday – Core Strength from 3:15 to 4:15. Swimming from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Diving from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Team Dinner by the Mautz’s.
  • Thursday – Home Dual Meet against South at 6 PM. Everyone Swims down after the meet.
  • Friday – No practice. Happy Homecoming game!
  • Saturday – Practice for lanes 3,4,5,6 from 7 AM to 9 AM. Note time change.

Game Recap

A very tough night against a very strong KM team. We started off strong and just couldn’t keep up with their hitters and tough digs by their libero and sets that were dead-on from their setter.
